His epic comeback to cinema will see the actor starring inJeanne Du Barry,alongside Maïwenn. The movie will mark the most awaited return of the actor after a long and excruciating break. While he remained silent about his career for the most part, Depp has finally chosen to speak about the situation with regard to how he felt when the world was against him.

Johnny Depp Felt Abandoned By Cinema
It has been a long time sinceJohnny Depphad to step away from some of his most iconic roles. When he was asked about how it was for him to be replaced by Mads Mikkelsen as the villain of Eddie Redmayne’s franchise. It was already a very difficult question for him and he was more so surprised by the fact that a question that had the answer already had an answer flying about. He admitted that it was no doubt difficult for him to deal with the fact that Hollywood will slowly be dropping him one after another.

Johnny Depp Doesn’t Think About Hollywood
Johnny Depp also confirmed that while he did feel boycotted by how he could no longer act in movies that he had filmed with so much care, he was not one to feel boycotted by Hollywood. He conformed to the idea that the very foundation of Hollywood carries the fact that everyone is someone outside of them.
“I don’t feel boycotted by Hollywood, because I don’t think about Hollywood. It’s a strange, funny time where everybody would love to be able to be themselves, but they can’t. They must fall in line with the person in front of them. If you want to live that life, I wish you the best.”
The world has seen a lot of, if not the entire life of the actor being displayed, analyzed, and talked about relentlessly. So it would make sense why his transparency was one that could go hand in hand with cinema standing against him.
