Lena Headeyis one of the most prominent and leading actors in Game of Thrones, based on George R. R. Martin’s novel series –A Song of Ice and Fire.She took on the role of Cersei Lannister and portrayed it from the very first of season 1 till the very last of season 8. During that time she became a very important character in the series (she already was) and held much power to her name till the end. Headey was highly appraised for her role inGame of Thronesand was even nominated for countless awards multiple times and she is quite thankful for it.

Headey added that though she is quite happy that the show has turned up to be a massive success, it has somewhat stopped her in her tracks to pursuing other opportunities in the industry.
