Dwayne Johnson is nowhere to be seen in the first chapter of the DC Universe. The newly announced chapter has shown a lot of what is to come in the future of the franchise. James Gunn has revealed a lot of what the fans had been asking for and waiting for. It will all begin with the Superman movie and the chapter will see various other heroes and villains establishing their reign.

Now fans are wondering when Johnson’s character will return or if at all. Considering how much investment his movie had, the actor too had been anticipating a return of his character sometime in the future. However, it was revealed that Seven Bucks, the actor’s production company, and DC Films have come to an agreement that they will continue their hunt of finding where his character fits best.

Dwayne Johnson Contemplates When Black Adam Would Return In The DCU
Dwayne Johnson‘sBlack Adamdid not do as well as he had hoped. It had been underwhelming and fans wanted more in terms of story and character depth in general. Seeing the slate of upcoming DC projects, there was no room to add Johnson’s character in any film. Seeing that, he would have to be much more patient and wait until he sees an opportunity for Teth Adam to finally get a sequel or appear in another movie.
The audience wonders how he would fit into the DCU as is if Zachary Levi’sShazam!series does not continue. The questions regarding his stay have only been growing, making people wonder whether or not he would even be compatible to play the character seeing that he is already fifty and would be much older by the time the opportunity arises. It would be interesting if Black Adam was much older than what fans would Initially be expecting.

Dwayne Johnson Still Has Hope Of His Future In The DCU
Dwayne Johnson has stated previously that even though his character will not be returning anytime soon, he will return. When and how are questions yet to be answered. His involvement in the franchise might be seen more behind the screens with Seven Bucks’ involvement. However, in front of the camera, it might take a long while till he returns as Teth Adam.
James Gunn’s planning has already based an entirely new era for the franchise that could easily change everything for Warner Bros Discovery and DC Films. Slowly his ideas could develop into Johnson also being a part of the franchise.
