Having starred as a child actor, PenaVega kept acting sporadically as time wore on and devoted herself to her family more and more.

PenaVega is known to be a person with a strong faith and core moral principles, and she hasn’t shied from expressing her thoughts on hot-button topics like abortion publicly, not caring how it affects her position in the industry. She opened up about the same in a recent interaction as well.
Alexa PenaVega recalls having saved a baby from being aborted
Hollywood actress and singer Alexa PenaVega recently opened up about how she had saved a baby from being aborted in an interaction with Speak Out.
“I honestly believe that you either believe in life as life as a whole, and you see babies, whether babies are in the womb or outside of the womb, as life or you don’t,”she said. “Once life begins — that is a whole baby. That is a beautiful life, and for me, I will do whatever it takes to protect that.”
PenaVega is a devout Christian and has always stood by her pro-life stance on the topic of abortion, often publicly.

The actress revealed that she had gone on a Zoom call with a mother and convinced her to not abort her baby, thus saving its life.
“I’ve never had this conversation before, what do you even say to a young girl who’s in this position?”PenaVega said.“I just told her about the joy that I have with my kids and the greatest thing that I ever felt was like being able to tuck them in at night and like seeing their beautiful little sleeping faces.”
PenaVega did not hesitate to call out those who were not against abortion, saying that they’re “in a war right now” on the topic.
Alexa PenaVega does not fear being canceled by the film industry
Abortion is a big issue of debate and Hollywood actress Alexa PenaVega realizes that her pro-life beliefs are not looked upon favorably by the progressive film industry in Hollywood.
“We didn’t want to raise our kids in Los Angeles. I felt this tug in my heart. I felt it was God going, ‘You guys need to get out of here. It’s time.’ I didn’t want to move. I knew it was the right decision,”the actress had revealed to Fox News earlier.
The actress had moved out of Los Angeles subsequently with her family and is now raising three children with her husband Carlos in Hawaii.

She recalled when she had first voiced her pro-life opinions in the industry and the hostility that had met her.
“I remember when I first started really speaking out about it and it was considered taboo and cliche and people stopped working with me because of it. Different brands were like ‘We don’t want anything to do with her,’ and I’m like, ‘That’s fine,’”the actress had said.
