Ho-Oh/Lugia Immersives Changing in Pokemon TCG Pocket: Controversy Explained

We’d like to share an update about the upcoming expansion in#PokemonTCGPocket.pic.twitter.com/W2GdG8Wv5n

Ho-Oh’s pose being similar to the fan art, has been a topic of conversation for some time now. However, Lugia’s card did not show any resemblance to other art pieces (at least until now). So, we can only surmise that there is another reason for this card also being changed.

Both immersive cards were closely linked to each other. The immersive cards were designed to keep both Legendaries in one frame. However, this would no longer have been possible with Ho-Oh’s card being changed.

So, Lugia’s card is likely being changed as well to fit the newly designed Ho-Oh card.
