League of Legends: Wild Rift is about to be fully global. The game’s North American release is impending after successful launches in Europe, Asia, and across the rest of the globe. Here’s when you can get your hands on Riot’s mobile MOBA.
It’s been almost six months since the Wild Rift closed beta launched in South East Asia back in October 2020. However, the game is finally arriving on American shores — after a few short delays.
You will soon be able to take your favorite Runeterra champions along for a ride wherever you go with your phone, with the League of Legends mobile “clone” set to take NA by storm.
Wild Rift NA open beta opens on March 29
The Wild Rift open beta is finally coming to North America onMarch 29, 2021. It’s not just the US and Canada getting it though, the wider Americas, including the Southern continent, will get access at the same time. It’s the last region globally to get the open beta.
While NA players might be a bit further behind their European or Asian counterparts, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to catch up. Riot are putting on bonus XP events, as well as allowing players to progress further by playing League of Legends on PC as part of the catch up package.
There is one caveat to the Americas launch though. NA and LATAM players will not be able to match up to global servers while travelling abroad (foreign concept, we know) due to differences in server infrastructure. If you move from the Americas,you’ll have to start a fresh account.

When is Wild Rift fully launching?
With the open beta soon to be live in every region, now it’s a wait until the game’s full launch comes. Riot are still testing out plenty of features for the mobile MOBA, and it might still be some time before it leaves beta.
Riot hasn’t set a time on it, but a fair judgment is the end of 2021. It gives them time to polish the release. However, based off their last launch of Valorant with a three-month beta, it might come even earlier.
