When Can We See More of Magneto?

It has been rumored that Ian McKellen’s Magneto had a cameo inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but for some reason, the director of the film felt the metal-manipulating villain does not fit well with the story of Dr. Stephen Strange, and hence the scene was removed.

However, there are rumors circulating around the internet that states that Magneto may make a cameo inDeadpool 3as Hugh Jackman confirmed that the film takes place before the death of Charles Xavier and Logan.

“I did tell him that it took place before our movie, so it wasn’t going to screw it up, like claws coming out of the grave. So, he was relieved by that, and he totally got it, that it was a really good idea.”

If Ian McKellen doesn’t make an appearance in the third sequel, there’s a possibility that he might appear in theAvengers: Secret Wars, as we’ve seen inAvengers: Endgamethat there are a lot of cameos without affecting the story of the movie. However, fans have to wait as the film would release on 1st May 2026.
