But here’s a fun fact – the voice actor of Maki’s character, Mikako Komatsu, shared a character fromJujutsu Kaisenshe would have dated if she was a student at Jujutsu High. And surprisingly, it’s not Gojo or Geto, but an unexpected character fromJujutsu Kaisen.

Maki Zenin’s Voice Actor Mikako Komatsu Would Like to Date Nobara inJujutsu Kaisen
As reported by Myamura onTwitter,Mikako Komatsu, Maki’s VA, would like to date Nobara fromJujutsu Kaisen.
When asked which character she would like to befriend if enrolled in Jujutsu High, Mikako confirmed that she would love to hang out with Nobara. Mikako says that she respects Nobara, and the character’s“strong resolve, beliefs, and sense of self would help her (Mikako) out of trouble.”

According to the tweet, when asked,“Who would she want to be friends with if she enrolled in Jujutsu High?”Komatsu answered:
“I’d like to be friends with Nobara. We’d go shopping, go to the movies, eat together – we’d totally be dating. [Laugh] I think her strong resolve, beliefs, and sense of self would help me out of trouble. I truly respect her.”
It actually makes a lot of sense because the character she would like to date is lot like Maki.

Maki Zenin and Nobara Would Make A Great Duo Together inJujutsu Kaisen
InJujutsu Kaisen, the characters’ dating lives aren’t a focus since it’s mainly about action and violence. Even after several years, we know nothing about both of the characters’ individual dating lives.
But recently,JJKfandom has been shipping NobaMaki (the ship between Nobara Kugisaki and Maki Zenin). This is the most popular and the most loved Femslash in theJujutsu Kaisenfandom. People ship them because both Nobara and Maki are confident and strong women who share many similarities.
Komatsu, who voices a character that’s a lot like Nobara, so maybe the VA is actually projecting how Maki would have felt for Nobara. In fact, fans would have loved to see Maki and Nobara becoming a duo inJujutsu Kaisen. Unfortunately, without spoiling anything, let’s just say that we won’t ever see that happening in the animanga.
