Mayim Bialik signed up for the experience of a lifetime when she starred in the hit television sitcomThe Big Bang Theory. Not only did her character become insanely famous for her subtle yet brutal jabs, but it brought a new dynamic to the show.
As amazing as the relationship was between the characters, off-screen the dynamics were pretty much the same. And for Bialik, it was her co-star Melissa Rauch and not Kaley Cuoco that made the experience all the more fun.
It is not as if Bialik was not friends with the other cast members. But given the two actresses appeared together on the show later in Season 3, their bond was somewhat different and special.

The cast ofThe Big Bang Theorywas together for more than a decade, butMayim BialikandMelissa Rauchfirst made an appearance on the show in Season 3. Understandably so, they got closer to each other in comparison to the other cast members, who had already known each other for two seasons.
While all seven of them share a pretty close friendship, Bialik once stated that it was Rauch that she was the closest to.
In anInstagrampost shared after the end of the celebrated sitcom, Bialik posted a photo of them together and wrote a heartwarming caption, stating,
“This lady and I have been through a lot together as the new kids on the block of season 3 of [Big Bang Theory]. We have cried together and laughed together and raised kids on a set together. I couldn’t have made it without her with any semblance of sanity. Thank you [themelissarauch] for being you. You’re so much more than [thebronzemovie] to me. You’re solid gold.”
And fans certainly couldn’t get enough of the two co-stars, whose characters spiced things up for the already entertaining and engaging sitcom.

Mayim Bialik States The Cast Has Different Kinds Of Relationships
After the end ofThe Big Bang Theory, it is different to maintain a relationship and friendship as tight-knit as it was while on the sets of the show. Mayim Bialik, while talking toFox News, back in 2020, stated,
“It’s obviously different to have a relationship with people when the thing that brought you together doesn’t exist. We don’t have a place to go to work together to hang out. We’ve had some group communication for sure… I talked to Melissa more often… We all have different kinds of relationships, but it’s very hard. We miss being together that way because you can’t recreate that.”
And for sure, the fans miss the cast too, rejoicing at any moment when they come together or mention each other as they get on with their respective careers.
