Robert Downey Jr. is recently making fans fall for him all over again with his portrayal in Christopher Nolan’sOppenheimer. However, fans still can’t get over the fact that he brought Tony Stark aka Iron Man to life with his impressive acting skills. Given the amazing memories he gave to fans, he had not very fun moments donning his iconic superhero suit.

His on-screen love interest, Gwyneth Paltrow who played Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) once humiliated him when he expressed his discomfort after wearing the suit.

Gwyneth Paltrowhas worked with Robert Downey Jr. in theIron Manmovies. In an appearance onThe Graham Norton Show,she opened up about her co-star’s experience when he donned the suit for the first time. She wore it for a while in the third installment of theIron Manseries.
“I get to do a bit of action and I get to wear the Iron Man suit for a while – it’s very cool. It’s quite cumbersome but not so bad.”
She mentioned that her experience was nothing like what she anticipated from the way her co-star reacted.
“I thought it was going to be terrible because, in the first two movies, Robert would put on the suit and start sweating, he’d have a nervous breakdown and would meditate and cry. He was in hell. So, I was like, ‘Wow, I’d better start mentally preparing myself for the suit,’ and I put it on and was like, ‘This guy is a wimp, it’s really not that bad.’ “
She was skeptical about wearing the outfit superhero suit since Downey Jr. often used to complain about it being hot and uncomfortable. However, it turned out to be otherwise for her.

During a Goop podcast with her friend Kate Hudson, the actress addressed the topic of kissing her MCU co-star which she admitted was“one of the worst moments of her career.”
As to why she hated sharing a smooch with theZodiacstar, she shared,
“With Robert, like, when I kissed him, I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me, this is literally like kissing my brother.’”
Even theOppenheimeractor addressed it by mentioning that she had already told her feelings about the sequences.
“She (Gwyneth Paltrow) said… I didn’t know what I was doing, like, ‘It didn’t feel good.’ And I said, ‘You know what? First of all, we’re all friends, so what would be creepy is if I was coming off all sexy to you while we were shooting – which by the way, I’ve done that in movies and it creeps them out! So why would I creep you out?’”
Though the weirdness didn’t brush off, the duo continued to maintain their friendship for each other with Paltrow being good friends with Downey Jr.’s wife Susan.
