In this documentary, he also recalls an incident when one of his mentors gave him advice that helped him in winning the title of Mr. Universe.
In the first episode of the series, thePredatorstar recalls his time getting ready for his first appearance at the Mr. Universe bodybuilding competition in 1967, and to get ready, he went to Britain to train with legendary bodybuilder Reg Park, who Schwarzenegger also idolized, Therefore, along with Park, he was also being coached by Wag Bennet, who when reviewing his physique, pointed out the disproportionality in his body, or more specifically, his caves and his biceps. In the episode, theTerminatorstar says:
“Wag would say ‘You have to train your calves, your biceps are much larger than your calves. The calves are skinny, the whole proportion is off.’ If you want to win, you need to be fine-tuned and you have to have everything at ten”
Therefore, this one simple piece of advice helped him become the premier name in the sport of bodybuilding, and the rest is history.
