Although most know him by his stage name ‘Park Seo-joon’, very few people are aware of the fact that ‘Seo-joon’ is actually not the Korean actor’s birth name. Instead, the birth name of theDreamstar, who was born on the 16th of December, 1988, is Park Yong-kyu.
And since many people are unaware of his real name, the fascinating star has decided to use it to his advantage, but only for a heartwarming cause: he makes use of his birth name while making donations to charities!
Not only this, but his charities aren’t limited either. Back in 2019, at the time of the forest fire raging in Gangwon Province in South Korea, he donated KRW100 million (approx. $75,992) to Hope Bridge.
But that wasn’t his only time donating a whopping KRW100 million to charities either: he followed the same amount in the year following to help the people affected by Korea’s floods due to heavy rains, and then once again made a donation of KRW100 million to Daegu Metropolitan City for COVID-19 relief efforts.
