Todd Howard, the director, has always had an interest in space, ever since his brother was born on the same day that Neil Armstrong stepped foot on the moon. And ever since that moment, Todd has had some form of interest in space.

Since working with Bethesda, Howard has been a part of some amazing projects by having his hand in fantasy, helping create theElder Scrollsseries, all the way to the post-apocalypticFalloutseries. But now he has progressed into space and worked to create such a unique universe for players to the point where he is now being called the Christopher Nolan of the gaming industry.

Over the past eight years, Howard has painstakingly worked with Bethesda to createStarfield, and now that it is finally released, it is like a weight off his shoulders. Todd has said, “we couldn’t have conceived or made a game like Starfield before.” It is such a big part of Bethesda and the work that has been put into making the game, the longer the development went on, the more they worried it would never release.

“We needed to grow. Even then, it took far longer than we thought it would. The longer the journey you go on, the harder it is to maintain.“

He saw the choices that were put to players, not just in where to go, but what to say, who to save, who to kill, and just who they might want to be in this futuristic space adventure.
