In theMCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, Sarah Halley Finn recalls her first meeting with Hayley Atwell, who had shared her intention of being a superspy and how she“really wanted to kick some a**.”

Hayley Atwell’s performance inMission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One,was one of the key attractions of the film. Her portrayal of Grace, a thief was the center of the film as she stole a key that is required byTom Cruise’sEthan Hunt as well as The Entity, a rogue artificial intelligence. Her character displayed all sorts of emotions from play, and joy to fear and guilt, Atwell made sure her portrayal was flawless in the film.
During an exclusive interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, theChristopher Robinactress shared that wanted to give her best performance to date as the franchise has given her the“trust and the platform.”She went on to express her gratitude to Cruise and everyone involved in making the film, as she was surprised by the quality of filmmaking which she had never been a part of before.

“I was finally given the trust and the platform … to show more range and to show more emotional depth in a franchise or something of this size, which I hadn’t been afforded before. And so I have this eternal gratitude to Tom and to McQ, who provided the resources and the support system every day on set so that I could thrive. It’s been a deliverance of a long time coming. After 17 years in this industry, I’ve finally been able to do something at this level, with this quality of filmmaking, and I’d never been afforded that before.”
The actress’ scenes led to some vital moments in the sequel, and it is her scenes that make the movie more intriguing to watch, as she and Cruise had intense as well as hilarious moments that created a distinctive, interesting, thrilling action scene.
