There is no doubt that a lot of actors use stunts and body doubles when filming their movies. It is also no secret that many famous stars are known for performing their own scenes and stunts, regardless of how risque or dangerous they are. Actors often make such choices that become hot topics on forums and social media. Though,Harry Potterstar, Emma Watson was compelled to use a double body due to some of her own personal reasons.

It might surprise some that one of the most famous scenes from theHarryPotter movie series did not actually include a favorite cast member. Yes, we are referring to Hermione Granger. How do we know? It was confirmed by her own body double.
The 33-year-old actress’sHarry Potterbody double, Flick Miles, has disclosed which significant scene she was called in for. She was actually called after the young Hermione Granger (when Watson was young) suffered an allergic reaction.

Although theBeauty and the Beastactress’ absence from the scene may have surprised some fans, actors often use body doubles in movies. Thus, it is nothing new in this industry.

Emma Watson Wasn’t Actually In A MajorHarry PotterScene
Emma Watsonwas a child for at least half of the film adaptations of the franchise. So the production used an acting double, who could split the day in half to ensure that filming could be completed as soon as possible.
Flick Miles, Watson’s body double forHarry Potter,has revealed which significant scene she was called in for after the young actor had an allergic reaction. Sherevealed behind-the-scenes information in a video for the BBC, saying that she often acted as theLittle Womenactress stand-in for shots taken from a distance.

She even explained that due to UK labor laws, children actors were only allowed to work four hours a day on set.
“The biggest scene that I was a part of was when Hermione turns into a cat in [Harry Potter and the] Chamber of Secrets.”

Adding to this,Miles disclosed:
“She [Emma Watson] had a slight reaction to the glue that they used to stick the make-up on, so they asked me to do that part.So when you see Hermione as a cat in Chamber of Secrets, it’s actually me.”

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’s Hermione Granger was played by the youngest of the three main actors, Emma Watson, who was only 10 years old. Radcliffe and Rupert Grint were both 11 and 12 years old at the time, respectively.
The actress, who is now 33 and has since portrayed Belle inBeauty and the Beastand Meg March inLittle Women,spoke candidly about the rewards and difficulties of portraying the precocious Hermione Granger in eight blockbusters.
In an exclusive interview with Vogue, Watson discussed the most touching scenes, and whether she would like to go back to Hogwarts in another 20 years:
“It was emotional and also intense to have such an intimate moment so closely watched. Mostly I was just so happy to have a mediator who could ask us these questions and get to be part of seeing how differently – and similarly – we had processed things. I love that we remembered different things.”
Also note that the eighth and lastHarry Potterfilm, which was based on the well-known book series by JK Rowling, was released in 2011—more than ten years ago.
