If she manages to do so, she will be the first woman online to hit such a number and the first Hollywood celebrity to do so. Although many would believe for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to have that title, he is far away in that league from the singer-songwriter. The wrestler-turned-actor is currently sitting at a total of 368 Million followers on Instagram.
Although the title used to sit with Johnson, it is now with Gomez. If things keep going for her as they are on the platform, she would be gaining a massive title, leaving behind Kylie Jenner and all the Kardashians. The rise in Gomez’s followers started occuring because of her fued with Hailey Beiber. Becoming the first woman to ever do so would be huge for the singer as she has been gaining a lot of backlash from toxic fans and this would be a great way to stop them from saying anything without actually doing anything.
