There have been a lot of changes taking place in the MCU franchise, drawing both positive and negative comments. From the weak projects of the fourth phase to the fans slowly detaching themselves from the franchise altogether, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not been seeing a lot of wins.

Although some projects won the fans’ hearts such asShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and series likeWandavision, Loki, andWhat if…all managed to create some form of hope. That has still not been enough for audiences to fully dedicate themselves. In such a case, they have bent towards suggesting more ideas.

Marvel’s Phase 5 And The Disappointed That Followed With It
Though Marvel has had a two-decade-long streak of massive success, that has been dwindling with its recent Phase 4 and Phase 5. Phase 4 weakened the hype around the MCU as its projects were receiving quite harsh criticism on its structural aspects, like storytelling, characters, and CGI. Many expected this to get better with its fifth Phase but saw that the movie that kicked off Phase 5,Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, left fans extremely disappointed.
ThoughAnt-Man 3was quite good, the audience’s expectations of the movie hindered its performance. Many fans were not too happy with the direction that Marvel was taking with the concept of the multiverse, something that was introduced in the film. More specifically, what they have planned with the multiple. Many believe a different conflict would be more suited for what is to follow.

Though many love the idea of the Avengers fighting the X-Men, some are not too invested in this concept as they don’t like the storyline very much. Some want it to be portrayed as a prequel movie that shows an old fight between them. Few added that this concept would be much better as the multiverse saga is already too confusing for general audiences who do not keep up with the Disney+ shows.
