Deadpool 3is one of the most anticipated superhero movies in the world right now as we will not only be seeing Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool once again, but we will also be seeing Hugh Jackman reprise his role as Logan aka Wolverine once again. The Australian actor first took up the iconic role of Wolverine back in 2000 when he first starred as the mutant in the first movie of theX-Menfranchise.

However, according to recent sources, there will allegedly be multiple variants of Wolverine in the movie which is making fans wonder if Marvel looking to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the future.
There will allegedly be at least one Wolverine variant other than Hugh Jackman
There have been several actors in superhero franchises in history that made fans feel like they were born to play that role and it would hurt to see someone play the role of our beloved characters.Hugh Jackmanas Wolverine, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, and Heath Ledger as Joker are some of the finest examples of these. So, when it was announced that Jackman will be reprising his role as Logan once again inDeadpool 3, the fans were absolutely thrilled to see their beloved character back in action.

However, according to sources, we will allegedly be getting multiple variants of Wolverine inDeadpool 3and it has not yet been confirmed if the other variants will be played by Hugh Jackman as well. A Twitter user recently took to the platform and announced, “We’re also going to get at LEAST one other Wolverine in Deadpool 3.”

If the other variant/variants are not played by the Australian actor in the movie, it can be speculated that Marvel might allegedly be looking at a replacement for the character of Logan.
TheReal Steelactor talked about getting ready for the role of Wolverine again
Earlier this year in March, Hugh Jackman talked about his vacation in Paris and his looking forward to working with Ryan Reynolds. He further revealed that he is about to start getting ready for his role as Wolverine in the upcoming movieDeadpool 3. He said,
“Ryan and I have been friends for twenty years; we have a lot of fun together. We’re shooting this summer. That’s why I’m so happy to be in Paris right now and to be able to enjoy French gastronomy. Because very soon, I will have to go on a strict diet to remake Wolverine’s body: steamed chicken and broccoli!”

Other than Hugh Jackman a lot of other actors have also confirmed the reprisal of roles in theDeadpool 3. Morena Baccarin has recently confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Vanessa Carlysle, Deadpool’s girlfriend once again. Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic will also be reprising their roles in the upcoming movie.
Deadpool 3will be released on June 22, 2025.
