Robert Downey Jr. won over fans with his portrayal of Iron Man in the MCU. He started portraying the character in the 2008 filmIron Man,and continued portraying the character for a decade. He was last seen as Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in the 2019 film,Avengers: Endgame.However, his character sacrificed himself in his efforts to save the universe from Thanos.
The cinematic universe moved ahead with a new phase and started introducing new superheroes. But fans were still expecting to see Downey Jr’s return. Even if it was not an easy to feat to achieve. Now the MCU is again under a threat from the new supervillain, Kang the Conqueror, in the next phases.
As Kang’s threat looms around the MCU, fans expect Iron Man to come back to save the day once again. Followed by several rumors, an MCU source has confirmed that theAge of Ultronstar would come back in the upcomingAvengersmovies.
According to the source, Robert Downey Jr will return at the end ofAvengers: The Kang Dynasty.And considering there have been numerous rumors about theInfinity Warstar having a cameo inSecret Wars, he could also join Avengers till the last film of Phase 6.
Although the studio has not confirmed anything yet, fans seem excited about the return of their favorite superhero. While some fans are hopeful for his comeback, others are not happy with Downey Jr.’s comeback getting spoiled in this way.

RDJ’s return is exciting. But bad for The Multiverse Saga. People are not able to movie from the Big Three. RDJ’s return will only encourage that and not able to focus on ew characters.
