Marvel’s much-awaited miniseries,Secret Invasionis finally available to watch. The series is set in the current MCU timeline, where Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury learns about an alien invasion by the shape-shifting alien race known as The Skrulls. As the series progresses, fans learn that these alien forms have been infiltrating Earth for ages without humanity knowing of their existence.

Samuel L. Jacksonhas always been an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, since his first appearance in the franchise in Robert Downey Jr.’sIron Manin 2008. His charismatic aura and commanding presence in front of the camera were one of the key reasons that the franchise was so successful.

As thePulp Fictionactor headlined the miniseries, there have been reports shared byShowbiz Galore, which states that the actor had taken home a massive pay-check worth $20 million. His salary was so huge that the combined salary of his cast members was only half of what he had earned. Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Ben Mendelssohn, and Don Cheadle, reportedly earned $4 million, $2.5 million, $1.5 million, and $2 million respectively. Their combined salary results in only $10 million, half of what Jackson earned in the film.

While TheDjango Unchainedactor went home with a massive payday for Secret Invasion, there is only one actor in the MCU who has taken home a bigger salary that makes his salary look like nothing.
