John Williams is regarded as the most influential film composer with seven decades of working life. Williams is also the only person to get nominated for the Academy Awards in seven consecutive decades beginning from the 1960s. Williams has also received an Honorary Doctorate of Music from universities like Harvard, Boston, Pennsylvania, and Berkeley. In 2022, Williams was appointed an Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) by Queen Elizabeth II,“for services to film music”.
Williams is nominated for the 95th Academy Award for Best Original Score for his contributions toThe Fabelmans. William has also won Emmy awards six times. Williams won 53 nominations at the Oscars. Out of his 53 nominations, 48 of his nominations were for Best Original Score, and rest five were for Best Original Song. In 2003 Williams was honored with the Olympic Order by the International Olympic Committee. The legendary composer has also been included in the American Classical Music Hall of Fame and the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame.
