Kat Torres, the Brazilian model, spilled the beans about her romance with the famousLeonardo DiCaprioin October 2013. They hit it off during the Cannes Film Festival. She openly liked DiCaprio but also worried about how he’d take her talking openly about their relationship.
She reportedly told the Brazilian newspaper Extra (viaDaily Mail) in 2013, “We have a pact that nothing can ever be said about our relationship.” Nonetheless, shortly after her statement,E! Newscontradicted her claims, asserting that the two were not actually in a relationship.
In November 2022, Kat Torres was arrested in Minas Gerais on suspicions related to actions resembling human trafficking in the United States, among other possible crimes. The exact specifics of the case were kept secret by the authorities.
The whole inquiry into Torres kicked off when worried family and friends decided to look for a young woman who had been brought to the United States to live with her.
This led to them filing a police report over suspicions of human trafficking, which set off a social media campaign. At the same time, they shared reports on a website, and attorney Gladys Pacheco gathered these reports while representing about 15 individuals asserting they were victims of Torres.

The prank took an intriguing turn when DiCaprio responded to her text, showing his willingness to join in on the fun. The actor from “The Wolf of Wall Street” replied with:

The actress and the audience were left in astonishment by the star’s response to the text. The ensuing text exchange between the two quickly became a viral sensation on social media.
