Hollywood couple Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have already made a lot of noise due to their public display of fights and disputes which should have been kept personal. From allegations of cheating to ruining parties and fighting, the couple has suffered through some dark times.

And during these dark times, Will Smith and Jada Smith realized that they were not sufficient to make each other happy. In a wild interview with Oprah Winfrey, Smith talked about his failed marriage and how there was no one on this Earth that could make Jada Pinkett Smith or theMan in Blackactor happy.
Will Smith Gave Up On Trying To Make His Wife Happy
Back in 2021 before the infamous Oscar slap that Will Smith landed on Chris Rock for making fun of his wife, Smith gave an appearance in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. In the Apple+ TV show titledThe Oprah Conversation,Will Smith did not shy away from spilling the beans.

Giving an in-depth dive into his personal life, Smith talked about how his marriage was indeed a tough ordeal that he had to suffer through every day. TheAladdinactor also talked about facing realities together and how they both knew that they were not enough to make each other happy.
“We realized that it was a fantasy illusion that we could make each other happy. We agreed that she had to make herself happy and I had to make myself happy. Then we were going to present ourselves back to the relationship already happy—versus demanding that the other person fill our empty cup.”

When Winfrey pushed the talk a little further by asking if they could have sexual partners,Will Smithsimply replied that there was no man on Earth that could make Jada Pinkett Smith happy and no woman that could make Will Smith happy.
“We are going to love each other no matter what. Since we are talking about it, Oprah, let’s just talk about it: No woman can make me happy, so I don’t need to look for one to try and make me happy. No man can make Jada happy, so she don’t need to go look for one to make her happy. We both know that. There is no person that will fill your hole.”

Having been raised in different environments, Smith claimed that his wife was raised in a more experimental environment where exploration and polygamous relations were given free will.

It wasn’t easy for the actor to get hurt time and time again but it seems that Will Smith is in love with his wife unconditionally. That is what the actor proclaimed in his interview with Oprah Winfrey and added that he trusts her that whatever Jada Smith will do in her life, they will always be in love.
“Love being the most fearful place you’ll ever attempt to step into. Real love. That unconditional love. To be able to open a broken heart again. Open a broken heart again and again. We have given each other trust and freedom, with the belief that everybody has to find their own way.
He further continued,
“And marriage for us can’t be a prison. And I don’t suggest our road for anybody. I don’t suggest this road for anybody. But the experiences that the freedoms that we’ve given one another and the unconditional support, to me, is the highest definition of love.”
Following the interview, Will Smith publicly slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars 2022 and his career as well as his marriage took a hit due to the violent act. Smith tried to get back up on his feet but his career has come to a standstill.
