Twitch streamer Kai Cenat recently called out former YouTube sensation PewDiePie. While Kai questioned the latter’s success, a number of people on the internet did not like the streamer’s opinion. Kai’s clip, where he couldn’t understand why PewDiePie had such a large fanbase, garnered a lot of attention because of his unpopular opinion. YouTube star MrBeast took to X to call out Kai Cenat for the same. He stated through a post on the platform:
“L take, he fundamentally shaped YouTube culture. I miss meme review and loved watching play random games while I ate dinner every night. Poods a goat.”
A number of MrBeast’s fans agreed with what he said and showed their disagreement with Kai Cenat’s statement. Some said that Kai might not belong to PewDiePie’s target audience. However, some fans agreed with Kai, stating that they did not understand PewDiePie’s humor.

On June 29, 2025, Kai Cenat expressed a controversial viewpoint about Felix “PewDiePie.” He found it incomprehensible that PewDiePie had so many fans. The streamer stated:
