Harrison Ford is one of the legendary actors in the entertainment industry. He was the top actor hero of the 80s era and was loved for dialogue delivery and action sequences. The actor made a legacy with his iconic character Indiana Jones. Over the past 40 years, the actor had managed to keep the charm of the actor alive and thriving among fans, with his exceptional performance in each film. However, the 81-year-old star announced his retirement from the franchise.
Indiana Jonesstar shared in an interview that is still a lot of acting left inside him and would not retire from Hollywood so soon.

Harrison Ford on his retirement at 81
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destinystar shared ahead of the release of the franchise, that he is exiting from the lead role. However, he has not given up acting altogether. On being asked about the same inCNN and Max’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?Show, he laughed off the idea.
Ford said,
“I don’t. I don’t do well when I don’t have work. I love to work. I love to feel useful. It’s my Jones. I want to be helpful.”
On being asked the reason for still doing movies at the age of 81, he said,
“It is the people you get to work with. The intensity and the intimacy of collaboration. It’s the combined ambition somehow forged from words on a page. I don’t plan what I want to do in a scene. I don’t feel obliged to do anything. I’m naturally affected by things that I work on.”
The actor will make an appearance in MCU’s projectThunderboltin 2024.

The star shared in the interview that he wants his current age to be felt in the fifth franchise ofIndiana Jonesmovies. He shared that he was attracted to work again as Jones to embrace his age and not make the film a joke for people.
“I wanted it to be character driven. And I wanted us to confront the question of age straight on. Not to hide my age, but to take advantage of it in the telling of the story.”
Harrison Fordadded on his experience of saying goodbye to his franchise,
“No. It’s time for me to grow up.”
“Six years ago, I thought maybe we ought to take a shot at making another one. And I wanted it to be about age because I think that rounds out the story that we’ve told and we brought it to the right place. I mean, the last one ended in kind of a suspended animation. There was not a real strong feeling of the conclusion or the closure that I always hoped for, the roundness and speaking to this issue of age. Not making jokes about it, but making it a real thing.”
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destinywill be released in theatres on June 30
