Christopher Nolanis one of the renowned filmmakers of Hollywood, and so it doesn’t come as a surprise that many actors wish to have the opportunity to work with him.Robert Downey Jr. also came across the 2023 film while taking a break from his professional life.
He got the opportunity to work with the director in the biographical thrillerOppenheimer. And he has surprised everyone as he recently called the upcoming movie the best film of his career.“I’m just going to flat-out say it. This is the best film I’ve ever been in,”he said during the UK premiere ofOppenheimer.
He further stated that he is eager for the audience to feel the“immersive experience”the movie gives its viewers. While fans are looking forward to the upcoming film, the statement has many talking about how theDolittlestar really feels about starring in the MCU.
Earlier, theIron Manactor shared that starring in the MCU and portraying the same character for over a decade affected his acting skills, and theOppenheimerdirector wanted him to bring out the best of him for the upcoming movie.

And the anticipation for the movie only increased as it is set to have a box office clash with Greta Gerwig’sBarbie. Robert Downey Jr, who also stars in the movie, has claimed thatOppenheimerwould live up to everyone’s expectations.
During the London premiere of the movie, theTropic Thunderstar said,“No matter what your expectations are, or what you might think…it’s just an immersive experience,”before adding, “This is what the summer blockbusters when I was growing up, used to be.”
Downey Jr. seems confident about the movie as he has shared his belief that the film would win over everyone’s heart. Not just the actor, but the film’s director has also said that the upcoming movie is his“most extreme”project yet.
