Matt Shakman’s Vague Response For Season 2 ofMonarch: Legacy of Monsters

During an exclusive interview withInverse,Matt Shakmanwas asked about the future ofMonarch: Legacy of Monsters.The director did not confirm that a 2nd season of the show will take place. However, he gave an ambiguous statement when asked more about the future of the show.

“I can’t speak about future plans for Monarch just because we’re so excited about launching our first season. But it’s definitely a part of this Monsterverse and we were excited about that opportunity.”

Matt Shakman’s concerns about the future of the show are justifiable asSkull Islandfor season 2 which is available on Netflix has not been renewed by them. As a result, it does not give much hope to the director about another season of the show.
