Fortunately, the actor survived the accident, but it gave him a big abdominal scar. When the actor went on this “demon ride,” he certainly had no idea what fate it held. Reeves’ vehicle crashed into the side of a mountain, following which he was hospitalized for days with broken ribs and a ruptured spleen.

What made Keanu Reeves laugh even after facing a tragic injury?
While Keanu Reeves was hospitalized due to his severe injury, the medical assistant came to get him. During that time, an emergency medical technician trainee accompanied him and picked up one end of the stretcher, but he mistakenly dropped it. This entire scene gave Reeves a big laugh. The actor said,
“It made me laugh, but I couldn’t breathe!”.
During an interview, the actor shared about the experience and recalled the mistakes that could have been avoided. He said,
“I should have gone on the brake, released the brake a little bit, leaned into the turn.”
However, the fearless Reeves wasn’t done yet, as he claimed that he would still go on more such rides.
