Although it appeared that theBad Teacherstar is set to begin her next chapter in the industry, the actress is reportedly reconsidering her decision to return to Hollywood after the recent drama surrounding the Netflix movie.

Even though she was initially excited to mark her return to Hollywood through the upcoming Netflix movie, her decision to work inBack in Actionhasn’t turned out great.

It seems thatCameron Diaz’sreturn to acting after an 8-year hiatus will be short-lived, following the drama surrounding her upcoming movie, Back in Action.According to reports, Jamie Foxx reportedly suffered a severe meltdown during the production of the movie, which led to the firing of three people. The report also added that along with the drama surrounding the lead actor, the return of Diaz into the realm of acting hasn’t been easy and she has been exhausted by the long working hours.

The report stated,

“These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hated being away from [her child] Raddix. Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world.”

Considering that Jamie Fox was the reason behind Diaz’s decision to return to acting, it seems that the actress is allegedly going back to retirement after the completion ofBack in Action’sproduction.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances that have allegedly led to the actress reconsidering her return to Hollywood, Cameron Diaz was initially excited about working inBack to Action.While speaking with Jimmy Fallon, the actress expressed that after she was offered the role in the upcoming Netflix movie, she was adamant about doing it, as she could connect with the story and the character. She said,

“I know. Literally. I was like, ‘Hey, guys, so what is the title of this?’ And they’re like, ‘Back in Action.’ I was like, ‘Oh!’ I’m really feeling very connected to this character already. I’m both (nervous and excited). You know, it’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean? Sort like, I did that for so long, it’s kind of like the process, I kind of just fell back into it.”
