“There was a beat where Carol starts singing before she dances with the prince — that was pretty funny. And there’s a moment where Kamala starts singing, too. Everything about it was so well done. I’m sure it was [cut] for a good cause. There were all these little beats that they took out to make the movie more succinct. I mean, we shot a lot on this movie!”

This revelation started a debate on X (formerly Twitter) where the fans chimed in to share their take on the incident. Even though a large section of the audience agreed with Iman Vellani that the scenes were cut for a good reason, many also criticized the decision. According to them it was one of the coolest scenes in the entire movie and deserved to be shown more.

The fans agree that the Aladna scene was cut for good

When it was first announced that the popular South Korean star Park Seo-joon would appear inThe Marvels, many fans were excited to watch him. But when he was finally introduced as Prince Yan in the movie, not everyone was happy with his extremely small screen time. On the other hand, some fans also complained that the scene was crap and it was a good decision to cut that.

Let’s take a look at some tweets:

If the extended scene is released somewhere, then it will be exciting to watch how the whole thing was supposed to play out. However, from the reactions, it is evident that not all would have pleased. Moreover, the box office report has also been highly disappointing and the worst for any MCU movie.

The Marvelssaw a magnificent drop and only managed to collect around $3 million on its second weekend. On its first weekend, it couldn’t rake in more than $47 million. At this point, it seems very difficult for it to even collect its budget of over $270 million. If the drop remains constant, even lackluster will be an understatement.
