Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl comes from the planet of Krypton just like Superman and possesses similar attributes like superhuman strength and special abilities. It looks like the upcoming movie may set the precursor for the Supergirl solo movie,Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
