TheBarbieactress stated her wish to witness the bond between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy in live-action. It is one of the most renowned romances in the comic books and the animated media and Robbie also wanted to watch it in the presently-dead DCEU.
Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn was one of the fewest good things that occurred in DCEU. Many fans loved how she nailed the role and looked perfect in it. With the transition to DCU, it feels like the antiheroine might now face an unlucky fate in James Gunn’s universe.

In an interview withComicbook.com, when the 33-year-old actress was asked about the possibility of watching the Harley Quinn-Poison Ivy romance in live-action, Robbie replied:
“I have been pushing for that for years. I cannot tell you how hard I’ve been pushing for that. I want it too.”
When she was asked about any potential casting choices for Poison Ivy, Margot Robbie didn’t name any particular actress but wanted a comic-accurate portrayal.
“Honestly, when I pictured, I always picture like Poison Ivy in the comics. I don’t really actually picture an actress doing it, but I agree, that would be so good.”
It can’t be denied that a romance between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy might also repeat the success of comic books and animation in live-action. But it is also noteworthy that James Gunn hasn’t confirmed anything about the future of Margot Robbie in the DCU. Now, with the departure of the former Justice League members, Robbie’s future in the universe is more uncertain than ever.
