Christopher Nolan’s grand project,Oppenheimer, has earned yet another admirer in the form of the Academy Award-winning director, Oliver Stone. Often associated with controversial films centered around American politics, Stone has notably explored the lives of US Presidents in his films includingJFK,Nixon, andW., and produced a trilogy on the US involvement in the Vietnam War.

Surprisingly, Stone also discloses that he once contemplated creating a film based on the life of the Father of the Atom Bomb. TheNatural Born Killersdirector’s appreciation extends to the film’s cast, with special mention of lead actorCillian Murphy. Talking about Murphy’s exaggerated eyes, Stone tweeted:
