If there’s one bodybuilder’s name the general public knows and admires, it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger. The bodybuilder-turned-actor is known for his Greek god physique that he has flaunted in films and competitions alike. He won the Mr. Olympia title 7 times- from 1970 to 1975 and 1980, apart from other titles like Mr. Europe, Mr. Universe, and Mr. World.
However, Schwarzenegger’s hay days are now over, even though he’s still active in Hollywood. There’s a new champion on the scene, and his name is Chris Bumstead. As such, everyone is fantasizing about a possible matchup between the two and wondering who would win if they competed now. Bumstead thinks he could wipe out Schwarzenegger.

Chris Bumsteadhas been working on bodybuilding since his high school days. He won the Classic Physique division four times from 2019 to 2022. Apart from this, he was crowned the Canadian Championship Winner in 2015 and the IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championships Winner in 2016. The next year he went on to win the Toronto Pro.

As such, he’s the face of bodybuilding right now. So fans are, of course, imagining who would win a competition between Arnold Schwarzenegger and him. Bumstead has finally answered that question. He said that the results would vary depending on when they are competing. The bodybuilder said:
“It’s really hard to say because back then, people weren’t as lean. I’d be the leanest person they had ever seen, they wouldn’t even know what the f**k’s going on. So I don’t know if they would even want that. So maybe he would win because of that. But if he were to come today and compete against me last year at the Olympia, I think I would beat him because he’s not in shape enough.”
