This was a bold move from the star and a risky one too because being an A-list celebrity does not guarantee success. However, the biggest gamble of theGravityactorpaid off as the film earned $56.5 million at the box office with an additional $22 million in DVD sales. Luckily, things turned out to be fine for George Clooney as well becoming a major success at the box office. with nominations in six Academy Awards categories, including Best Picture.
