Sony’s signature PlayStation showcase “State of Play” returned for another installment on October 27, and featured new game announcements, as well as updates on upcoming titles.

Sony’sState of Play show returned on October 27, with a 20-minute long broadcast that focused on third-party titles coming to PS4 & PS5 in the near future.

While there was no news or major updates on first-party titles likeHorizon Forbidden WestorMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, there were still plenty of exciting third-party games that made an appearance on the stream.

PlayStation’s October 2021 State of Play

The October State of Play was livestreamed on both YouTube & Twitch onWednesday, October 27at2 PM PT (5 PM ET/10 PM BST).

A new Let It Die was announced. Called Deathverse: Let It Die, the game is set years later in the same universe and is a survival battle area title where players will face off against each other on a bloody TV show.

It is slated for a 2022 release on PS4/5.

Little Devil Inside was also shown. Supposedly originally meant to release in July 2021, fans still have no release date, but new gameplay was shown.

There’s no indication yet of when Sony’s next PlayStation State of Play will be, but with October’s featuring no first-party games, fans are surely starving for news regarding Horizon: Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok, and more.
