Want to get paid to play? Everyone has a new opportunity in eSports through EA Sports FC 24
After the reformulation ofFIFAtoEA Sports FC, orEAFC, which will be launched in September, Electronic Arts has now announced a new initiative for electronic sports with its newest series of football simulator games. CalledEA Sports FCPro, this new structure aims to serve as a platform for the entire world that allowsEAFCplayers to participate throughout 2023 and 2024 in individual matches that highlight them and leverage them into the eSports scene.
The program will be divided into two separate main seasonal competitions, the first will be the FC Pro Open, described as a “clear path to pro”, which will invite players from 10 different regions to compete for their share of a cumulative 1 million prize pool of dollars between October 2023 and February 2024 and the registrations are already open.

In February 2024, the second event, FC Pro League, will collaborate with associated and renowned leagues such as the Premier League, the Bundesliga, and Major League Soccer (MLS) and lasts 5 months, offering the chance to win cash prizes and guarantee a place in the great FC Pro World Championship for its competitors.
The big tournament, the FC Pro World Championship, is scheduled to start in June 2024 and has thirty-two participants, four of them from the FC Pro Open and twenty-eight from the FC Pro Leagues. They will all compete for a share of the $1 million prize pool and also the opportunity to be crowned as the first FC Pro World Champions in the history of the world.

These competitions take the place of the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Club World Cup sporting events that took place before and ended with the name change of the game series that occurred due to EA’s separation from FIFA. Furthermore, EA also indicated that the eChampions League event could return in 2024, but certain details have not yet been released.
EA Senior Director and Commissioner of Football Esports Sam Turkbas said:“FC Pro will redefine the way our millions of Ultimate Team players engage with EA SPORTS FC. In collaboration with our League Partners, our season-long FC Pro journey is the ultimate platform for our Ultimate Team enthusiasts to showcase their passion for FC.”
While EA continues to make moves, it remains to be seen how and whether FIFA has plans for a replacement game that could also participate in the original eFIFA circuit. But at this point, fans of football games are divided between franchises but still do not have a unanimous haven of quality assurance.EA Sports FC 24will be available on September 29th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC.
