According to the clip, it’s being drawn by Akira Toriyama, the creator ofDragon Ball, and while there have been countless comparisons, it’s a distinct story never portrayed inDragon Ball. The announcement has piqued the interest of fans, igniting a flood of conjecture regarding the impendingDragon Ball Daimaanime.
According to sources,Dragon Ball Daimawill not be a sequel or continuation ofDragon Ball Super. However, one instance fromDragon Ball Supermay have some relevance to the upcoming new series. This instance revolves around the three-second reset that Whis performed duringDragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. Therefore, despite stating it to be a conspiracy, the events ofDragon Ball Daimamay strongly be connected toDragon Ball Super.

There are many unanswered concerns regarding any possible link betweenDragon Ball DaimaandDragon Ball Super.It is yet uncertain whether or if this new series will take place in the mainDragon Balltimeline when it will take place, and how it will be related toDragon Ball Super.The three-second reset utilized by Whis inDragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, on the other hand, may draw parallels between the two series. Whis revealed in Resurrection ‘F’ that the three-second reset he did couldn’t be done so quickly since it would “throw off the time axis.” In Daima, this technique might be employed to return the characters to their original form.

The new anime is a unique story created to commemorate the franchise’s 40th anniversary. Most of the traditional cast members, including Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma, appear as de-aged versions of themselves. They will travel to a new dimension teeming with mysterious and terrifying beings to repair the damage. The preview also shows Hercule Satan hanging out with Goku and others. As a result, there is a good likelihood that Gohan and Videl are already together.
The identities and abilities of the two new antagonists are still unknown. In addition, the teaser offered glimpses of the Majin Buu Saga wizard Babidi. As a result, there is a potential that the new villain is tied to the magician in some way.
