Colin Farrell Would Not Mind Himself in a John Wick Movie
Colin Farrell, while talking to Hugh Grant in theVarietysegment, Actors on Actors, revealed that despite his distaste for commercial films, some action movies catch his eye in the best possible way. He stated that there was one franchise that really called out to him. It was none other thanKeanu Reeves’John Wick.
“I said to me agent last week, ‘I wouldn’t mind finding something like John Wick. Something that had kind of an aesthetic beauty to it in a particular style but was more commercial and maybe more physical and stuff like that.”

Not only is the franchise beautifully directed, but the story is also just as gracefully told. Farrell also finds the movie quite beautiful and aesthetic, stating that if there was one action film he would want to be a part of, it would be Reeves’ iconic movie. No matter how commercial or physically straining it may be, that would be a once in a lifetime opportunity he would not want to give up on.

Colin Farrell Found Himself in Another Beautifully Directed Action Movie
Ever since that interview, Colin Farrell starred in one of the DC Universe’s most shining movies,The Batman.Not only did he get his own spin-off out of it, but he got to be a part of a movie that was highly appreciated for not just its storytelling but also the beautiful direction by Matt Reeves. However, the essence thatJohn Wickhad was something else altogether.
It was a story about growth and grief, a journey of self-understanding filled with a lot of blood and guns. Keanu Reeves’ movie managed to reach all sorts of audiences and that was also one film Farrell would have broken his own beliefs for.
