Charlize Theron and Clint Eastwood are two brilliantly big actors. Although they have never worked together, there was one chance that ultimately went down the drain. Theron is a dedicated actress who has worked in some massive franchises including that of theFast and Furiousfranchise as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Eastwood too is a great actor as a director who has worked both in front of and behind the camera. As talented individuals, working together could have been the opportunity of a lifetime. However, Theron saw it slip away from her and had to apologize for it. Not only was she left answerable to her fans and public, but also to the director ofJ. Edgar.

WhenPrometheuswas still in the making, 20th Century Fox began eying Charlize Theron for a role in the movie. Noomi Rapace was still a fairly unknown actress and the faith that Ridley Scott was willing to put in her was something the studios were hesitant over. They wanted Theron who had confirmed that she had no ties with Clint Eastwood’s film.
Although they were looking to hire the actress for other roles, she ultimately got the role of Meredith Vickers. The studios originally wanted Michelle Yeoh to play the role but that did not happen either. Despite the lack of faith that the studios had, the movie ended up doing incredibly well.
