Emily Blunt Shared Christopher Nolan Hated Uggs
Christopher Nolanis known for his professionalism, and the filmmaker followed the same attitude as he moved ahead with the production of the biographical drama of J. Robert Oppenheimer.Emily Blunt, who stars as the physicist’s wife, Katherine Oppenheimer, in the movie, has shared that Nolan was highly cautious of anything that looked out of place on the set.
“It’s a testament to how he wants everything on set to look as it would (in the period),” she shared.The Quiet Placestar shared that he wanted perfection on the set and hated to see simple things like a plastic bottle or her comfortable shoes on the film set.
Blunt said that she would get a“withering look” from the director every time her shoes did not match her character. Nolan has also shared that the cast members would often wear Ugg Boots, as the pair of shoes for their character were not very comfortable.
However, according to theOppenheimeractress, the director“hates Uggs more than anyone.” But she had a very nice and hilarious idea to change the filmmaker’s mind about Uggs. And she did so by gifting him a pair of Ugg Boots.

Emily Blunt Changed Christopher Nolan’s Mind About Uggs
During his recent appearance on the chat showThe View,Christopher Nolan went into details of his unlikeness toward Ugg boots. The director shared that Emily Blunt loved a specific pair of shoes and would often wear them on the set.
He shared that sometimes the actors came in“big coats on them and they’ll be wearing these big Ugg boots.”TheInceptiondirector shared that he did understand that the shoes they had to wear for their roles were not very comfortable, but he couldn’t help but get mad over them.“I’d immediately say to her, ‘Can you please just get rid of the boots, put the shoes on, and get ready to go,'”he shared.
Nolan claims that Blunt was also tired of hearing the same thing, so she gave him the Ugg Boots as a wrap gift.“Well, she gave me a pair of Uggs boots,”he shared. While he did not like it initially, Nolan, along with The View panel, did admit that the Uggs are actually comfortable.
