Fury of the Gods, andThe Flashall had terrible box office performances; the upcoming movieBlue Beetleis reportedly following a few tough acts, according to Comic Basics. To put things in perspective,The Flashreportedly had a $200 million production budget and has so far collected $267 million at the worldwide box office.
Box Office Pro has released its projections forBlue Beetle, and it appears that the movie will add to DC’s long list of box office flops. The opening weekend is expected to bring in between $12 million and $17 million, which would result in a domestic box office total of about $27 million, whereasHenry Cavill‘sMan of Steelearned $291M at the domestic market.
Given the projected box office results, the movie’s $120M budget is unlikely to be even partially recouped.
