As per recent reports, the Kenyan-Mexican actress will be starring in a spin-off ofA Quiet PlacetitledA Quiet Place: Day Onewhich will act as a spin-off set inA Quiet Placeuniverse.

Exclusively confirmed byDeadline,the news of Lupita Nyong’o joiningA Quiet Placefranchise has the internet abuzz. The actress is most notably known for portraying Nakia, King T’Challa’s love interest inBlack Panther(2018).

According toDeadline,the spin-off will feature Lupita Nyong’o in a paramount role. The spin-off is reportedly different from the threequel that John Krasinski is already planning to do. John Krasinski along withEmily Bluntwill not be appearing in the spin-off as the titledDay Onesounds like a prequel.
Fans are complaining about the alleged repetitiveness of the franchise. Although Day One of the apocalypse has already been shown inA Quite Place II(2020), fans now hope that the spin-off will tell a different story not set in the same circumstances as the previous two movies. Other than the above reports, not much has been declared for the movie.
