An adaptation ofGeorge R.R. Martin‘sA Song of Ice and Fireseries,Game of Thronesis considered one of the highest-rated shows of all time. The story of the mythical land of Westeros featuring nine noble families garnered immense fan following, so much so that almost every needle-moving sequence in the series became a subject of intense internet debate.

Needless to say, the actors who featured in the series also rose to stardom overnight.Bella Ramsey, who portrayed Lady Lyanna Mormont, head of House Mormont, was no different. But considering they was one of the youngest cast members, treading the waters with so many cameras around naturally made the situation a lot more terrifying for them than most other established stars on the set.

“I actually think that my journey through the industry has been done in a way that I’m really pleased about. Like, I think we chose the right route in terms of when ‘Game of Thrones,’ everything started coming out. We chose the route of doing absolutely nothing, do like no interviews, give no personal information. It was so terrifying.”

Ramsey insisted that they are proud and happy about the decision to keep everything private and remain fairly anonymous untilThe Last of Us.However, that luxury has gone after their starring role in the post-apocalyptic series, for which they have also earned a Primetime Emmy award nomination.

While dealing with the popularity they got from their stint inGame of Throneswas difficult off camera, in front of it, the toughest challenge Ramsey has faced so far came in the BBC seriesTime.

They play Kelsey Morgan in the series focused on a high-stakes portrayal of life in a British prison. Kelsey is a drug addict in prison. Speaking about the portrayal, Ramsey told LADbible:

“By far the hardest in terms of like, the subject matter. And also, there were just big days on set, big, fast, long days.”

Impressively, Ramsey has no desire to stop just there, they are keen to take on an ‘intricate’ and ‘complex baddy’ character moving forward.
