Here is a guide on what you need to know about the new attachment system in Battlefield 6 Open Beta, including the class-based perk system.

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta showcased its new weapons system, including the attachments. Instead of swapping out attachments on the fly, the new system features a pick-100 loadout mechanic. Each attachment now has a respective point value. You then need to build your loadout without surpassing the 100-point threshold for each weapon. On top of that, the class system also incentivized players to stick to their specialized weapons without forcing them to do so.

How Does the Attachment System Work in Battlefield 6?

Battlefield 6 ditches Battlefield 2042’s Plus System and goes for a more tactical “Pick-100” loadout system. This means players now choose attachments with a limited allowance.

Each attachment in the game has its own point value, and players will need to choose wisely to avoid going over the 100-point limit. This compels players to make difficult choices about whether to focus on range, recoil management, or mobility.

This layout change promotes reflective customization over mid-match improvisation. For example, if you equip your rifle with a long barrel and heavy optic, you may have to give up quick ADS speed or hip-fire stability. It is less flexible now compared to earlier titles. However, it adds another element to consider before you join the match.
