Angelina Joliefirst met her former girlfriend Jenny Shimizu on the sets of the Indie movieFoxfire,which was ambivalent about the sexuality of girls and lesbianism. In the film, Jolie played Legs, a high school‘bad girl’,while Shimizu played Goldie, a member of Legs’ girl group. TheMaleficentstar revealed how she fell in love with the model cum actress at first sight, saying,
“I fell in love with her the first second I saw her. Actually, I saw when she was being cast in Foxfire, and I thought she had just read for my part. I thought I was going to lose the job. I said to myself, ‘Oh, my God, that’s Legs.’ She’s great. We had a lot of fun.”
Apparently, it was none other than Shimizu who made Jolie realize her sexual orientation. Clarifying the same in an interview, she said,
“I consider myself a very sexual person who loves who she loves, whatever s*x they may be. I probably would have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn’t married my husband.”
As it turns out, Angelina Jolie was even willing to marry her former girlfriend Jenny Shimizu, had she not married her ex-beau, Jonny Lee Miller.
