It has brought together fans of the DC Universe who have been patiently waiting for the movie. Now that it is right around the corner, the hype for the film has seemingly increased a lot. So much so that it has made them eager enough to wonder whether or not the series will make it into James Gunn’s upcoming DCU slate.
A recent comment by Levi has confused the fans about the same even more due to its controversial standing. While many fans chose to defend the actor, a lot is awaiting the day when due to his doubtful comment, he would be bidding farewell to the studios.

Zachary Levi Takes Controversial Stand Leading To Backlash
Zachary Levirecently commented on a tweet that specifically asked whether or not Pfizer, the vaccine was a danger to the world. To this, the actor agreed without hesitation. The response had been out of the blue yet fans have chosen to wonder if Levi is an anti-vaxer. Some think that he was singling out the company rather than the vaccination process.
The audience upon viewing the comment has been confused about his stand and if he’s against vaccinations as a whole or rather just the brand responsible for making them. For someone whose movie is about to be released, the opinion may not have had the best timing to surface. It has allowed putting him under a light the actor might regret dearly. Fans are furthermore wondering if it would lead to him leaving the franchise as well considering how the current time for the DCU is purely to reconstruct a new era of superheroes rather than a continuing majority of the old one.

Zachary Levi is not the first actor to have made an anti-vaccine comment and be part of the superhero industry. Letitia Wright, too, has been often on the receiving end of negative comments due to her stand on vaccinations. While having an opinion is valid, a lot of it can be somewhat unacceptable in the eyes of the audience. James Gunn has recently been forming the upcoming DCU future. His steps and decisions will ultimately result in what would be the next decade and more for the franchise.
For him to perhaps consider dealing with the backlash and the comment could be possible. However, he too has been fired for a tweet. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had done him rather dirty when the director got fired for an old tweet. So he more than anyone understands the consequences of not understanding the situation properly. Whatever decision the CEO may take, it would strongly impact the future of bothShazam!And the DCU.
