James Bond might not be to everyone’s taste after all. Even though it seems like Idris Elba has yet to leave the race for the role, in truth, theLutheractor turned it down even before he was brought up as a serious competitor to other contenders like Henry Cavill and Tom Hardy. For him, the suave, brooding detective is the closest fans can get to see him as a sleuth trying to save the world one disaster at a time.

The Current Status of theStar WarsFranchise Looks Dubious
With JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson, the majority of theStar Warsfaction was upset and divided over their manipulation of the sequel trilogy and the radical change in the timeline, leading to years’ worth of confusion and resentment. The current appointment of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau seeks to rectify the errings of their predecessors by introducing a multi-seasonAhsokaseries. It will not only showcase the character in live-action for the first time but act as a medium to reset the universe by uncanonizing or erasing major pieces of the sequel trilogy.

More reports on how the writers will handle the canon have indicated that certain moments of time and pieces of history in the trilogy can be changed or altered and this will mostly be done after alluding to the subject inAhsokaSeason 1 and diving into the decanonization in Season 2. Favreau had already issued a statement claiming how his goal is to“retell and redo some pieces of the sequels”. Many have taken that to consider with a degree of confidence that the director is speaking of the World Between Worlds.
If that is in fact the case, as was seen inRebelsSeason 4, Ezra saving Ahsoka from sure death at the hands of Darth Vader impacts and changes the Canon’s timeline. As far as Filoni and Favreau’s plans are concerned, the filmmaker duo might be planning to do something similar by introducing the mystical plane and having Ahsoka travel through the portal changing the timeline and resetting major aspects of the sequel trilogy. There might yet be some hope left of salvaging the Skywalker Saga.
