While speaking withET Online, actorMark Wahlbergshowed support for his brother Donnie on the upcoming final season ofBlue Bloods. He also acknowledged the effort that the whole production team has done for the show’s entire run:

“[Congrats], of course, to Donnie, Tom [Selleck], the whole cast! [It’s] remarkable! It really is an unprecedented run. [As] somebody who’s been producing television for a long time, [I know] it’s not an easy feat. So, congratulations! It’s quite an achievement.”

TheDreamcatcherstar has been a staple cast member in all 14 seasons, which unfortunately ends in February 2024. During his interview withUS Magazine, Wahlberg previously talked about the potential cancellation of the series, which was inevitable though he knew he had to accept it. He explained:

“I’m an optimist. I try to take every episode as it comes. I really do. I think it’s part of why I’ve enjoyed myself on the show for 13 years. I try to just stay very present in each episode and take each script that comes my way and say, ‘OK, what’s gonna happen now? You know, what am I doing this week?’ And kind of find the journey in that particular episode and not get caught up in what’s gonna happen next year, what’s gonna happen in two years.”

Blue Bloodshas been churning money for CBS and Paramount Global due to its international deals. Without surprise, it is also the most-watched drama show on CBS, averaging more than 9.5 million viewers per episode.

Mark Wahlberg Finds New Home In Las Vegas

Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg has finally moved to Las Vegas to start anew and pretty much build his own Hollywood empire in Sin City. He toldE! Newsthat he and his family are having a great time after their relocation:

“They love Vegas. I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career, and now it’s time for them to pursue theirs. Everybody is thriving there. It’s been great.”

He was talking about his children; clearly, Wahlberg wants to give them a better future where his kids could pursue their own ambitions, which he believes transferring to Las Vegas makes more sense.

“We came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids. There’s lot of opportunity here. I’m really excited about the future.”

Both Wahlberg brothers seem to be thriving in their own careers, whether it be in the filmmaking industry or production company business.
