The MCU has some of the best costumes that audiences have ever seen. From Spider-Man’s amazing costume inInfinity Warto Captain Marvel’s costume, there have been many memorable ones that fans have loved and praised.

Thanks to the plethora of characters, there have been times when the MCU has just seemed to miss. While it is not always possible to replicate costumes from the comics down to the last detail or have the perfect costume every time, some costumes just seemed to be simply bad or appear as if not enough effort was put into the design.
So, here are the 5 worst costumes that Marvel fans absolutely hate:

The character first appeared in the first-everAvengersback in 2012. However, not only did the character spend a significant amount of time playing Loki’s puppet, butHawkeye‘s costume was also severely criticized by fans.
While the MCU got it wrong inAvengers, even inAge of UltronBarton’s costume barely looked like one compared to the rest of the team. In his first appearance, it lacked any luster or creative flare, and during theAge of Ultron, the long coat just seemed impractical or rather something out of a Robin Hood stage play.

4Quicksilver
Quicksilvermade an appearance in his ‘costume’ for the first time inAge of Ultron. Unlike his sister, Wanda Maximoff, the character lacked a personality and even a real costume. Not only did it not resemble his iconic comic book costume, but it also looked more like a glorified tracksuit.
Lacking any attractive point, it was simply less appealing or distinct. Furthermore, fans rather likedX-Men: Days of Future Pasts’Quicksilver’s costume more.

Compared to MCU’s other projects,Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.had a ridiculously low budget. But despite the low budget, Deathlok was not even lowkey similar to his visually striking comic book appearance.
Lacking any cybernetic features or distinct mechanical aesthetics, fans alleged that even Power Rangers had better costumes than MCU’s cyborg. While it is true that the budget constraints restricted the series from adopting a more faithful design, fans allege that even with a limited budget the studio had a chance to do it better but just lacked the necessary creative flare.

For those who have been a fan of comics, Kurse fromThor: The Dark Worldlooked nothing like his comic counterpart. While there are certainly other costume problems in the movie, Kurse’s costume was one of the worst ones, looking almost comical and generic.
Fans alleged that even cosplayers could have come up with a better design and suit. For a character as impressive and formidable, not only the character was neutralized but his costume just looked as if Steppenwolf and Predator had a child, only a hundred times downplayed.

Probably the worst-ever costume inMCU‘s history, the iconic Iron Man villain was just plain bad. A probable combination of all his different comic book costumes, it was way too modernized for fans’ liking.
From his shirtless appearance to the electric whips attached to his arms, everything that could possibly have gone wrong with the costume did actually go wrong. What was supposed to be a major villain in a major sequel, Whiplash looked ridiculously lousy and uninspired. Even his next appearance was just as bad.
